amiibo figures are a completely new way to interact with your favorite Nintendo characters and games. These figurines have a special built-in chip that uses NFC communication technology. By touching the NFC sensor of the Wii U GamePad, or thededicated accessory for Nintendo 3DS, 3DS XL and 2DS , with a statuette while playing certain titles, the data on the chip will be automatically transferred to the game, allowing for example the character to appear on the screen. During the games the data of your figurine will also be updated, so by continuing to play it is possible to make your amiibo truly unique!
