RARE Vintage Japanese Bandai / Tsukuda Hobby Space Cobra simulation board game! This vintage board game is made in a similar style to the beloved SPI and Avalon Hill board games, with a similar bookshelf style box! Space Cobra, is a cult classic 70's anime series about dashing space pirate and rogue Cobra, equal parts Han Solo and Jack Burton (Big Trouble in Little China) with a dash of Heavy Metal. The series borrows from Philip K. Dicks "We Can Remember It For You Wholesale" better known as "Total Recall"; although not well known in the West, Space Cobra has influenced many works of fiction including the Fifth Element, Cowboy Bebop, Space Dandy, Redline, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Devil May Cry and many many more series! The board game displays well with tons of fantastic art from mangaka Buichi Terasawa; as well as amazing character cards, maps and other game pieces! A fantastic addition to any vintage board game collection!
