An Original Civil War General Order, issued at HQ Department of the Mississippi, Corinth, Miss, June 23, 1862 (during the Siege of Corinth) , including The 8pp Order details the trials of various Missouri guerillas for bridge burning and sentences them to execution.The Order also courtmartials  a 1st Indiana  Artilleryman  for attempted rape of a Batesville, Arkansas woman , and  sentencing him to prison at hard labor the the duration of the War. 8pp 8 x 5" ptd.
