This starter is the REAL DEAL
Summary: I was previously using a Powermaster 'Mastertorque' on my 532" big block chevy with locked out timing and over 800hp. It struggled to turn it over and sometimes the bendix would not engage the flywheel properly no matter how I shimmed it - I'm fairly certain the mounting block was too thick to allow the gear to mesh properly. I decided to give Powermaster another shot based on the reviews of this starter. Well, this XS Torque starter spins over that 532" like it doesn't have plugs in it. I really couldn't believe the difference!
