You are buying an Ancient Roman AD 54-68, AR Denarius depicting NERO CAESAR laureate head right on the obverse, and AVGVSTVS GERMANICVS, Nero standing facing, radiate and togate, holding branch in right hand and Victory on globe in left on the reverse.   This silver coin is 18 mm and was minted at the Rome Mint, circa 64-65 AD.

The reverse depicts Nero's Colossus, a roughly 120-foot-tall bronze statue of the emperor as Sol that was created by Zenodorus for the vestibule of the Domus Aurea, or Golden House, the massive palace constructed by Nero following the fire of AD 64.  Its memory was retained in the popular name of the amphitheater that was built close to the Colossus - the Colosseum.

The Denarius is in Fine condition,  However grading is very subjective and I recommend you examine the photos carefully.   I guarantee this Ancient Roman coin is authentic and not a modern reproduction, restrike or copy.

This cent is a "BUY IT NOW" however I will consider a "BEST OFFER."   Shipping is $5.50 via the US Post Office.
