~ From the estate sale of an ex-Navy serviceman who was part of Patrol Squadron 22 comes this cocktail glass from their 1997 reunion.
~ Clear glass with the squadron logo in blue on one side depicting a griffin and the words, "PATROL SQUADRON TWENTY TWO"/"1939 VP22 1942", (Indicating the 4 years the VP-22 squadron existed before it merged with VP-101). The other side says "1997 REUNION" in blue. Impressed into the glass on the underside are the American Eagle and the words "UNITED STATES AMERICA".
~ Double-rocks sized glass measuring 3 1/2" tall x 3 1/4" diameter, with 8 oz capacity.
~ Nice condition with no chips, cracks or stains. Slight fading to blue color but no loss of artwork itself.
