Vintage Henrik Ditlev Danmark Large Pan or Pot

Gorgeous large mid century Danish pottery pot or pan. Made in Denmark by Ditlev Keramik around the 1960's.


A beautiful rough brown earthenware clay contrasting with the yellow glazed interior. The pan has one large handle with matching glazed end.

Henrik Ditlev worked as a wheel thrower at Lars Syberg Pottery in the 1940's & 50's before starting his pottery in Lyngby, Denmark in 1956. He later went to work with Bjorn Wiinblad when Wiinblad purchased Nymolle pottery in the 1970's.

Signed underneath 'Ditlev Danmark'

Very good condition with no damage, no chips, cracks or crazing. Minor spots to the unglazed body.

Measure approx. 30cm wide including the handle or 24cm wide without it x 9cm high. Weighs approx 1.67kgs.
