Beautiful one of a kind  lamp made with an antique English mahogany or oak wood tea caddy biscuit storage mini barrel

The tea caddy and or biscuit jar might've been used to store tobacco as well

It's marked EPSN that stands for Electroplated Nickel Silver

Possibly made by Daniel & Arter D&A in the 1900s out of reclaimed wood from ship's desks

It has a shield shaped plaqued good for engraving monograms or any other type of personalozation

The company closed it's door in the 1930s

I don't know when this barrel was turned into a lamp, you can make an educated guess by looking at the electric cord
