Beautiful one of a kind lamp made with an antique English mahogany or oak wood tea caddy biscuit storage mini barrel
The tea caddy and or biscuit jar might've been used to store tobacco as well
It's marked EPSN that stands for Electroplated Nickel Silver
Possibly made by Daniel & Arter D&A in the 1900s out of reclaimed wood from ship's desks
It has a shield shaped plaqued good for engraving monograms or any other type of personalozation
The company closed it's door in the 1930s
I don't know when this barrel was turned into a lamp, you can make an educated guess by looking at the electric cord
