Large group of 16 hand painted soft plastic zoo animal playset figures by VEB PLAHO & MAROLIN of Germany.  The larger sized male Chimpanzee was not produced until after Marolin began making these figures.  Many replicate the sculpting of much earlier Lineol composition zoo animal figures, only on a smaller 54mm scale size.  Animals include: African ELEPHANT, male CHIMPANZEE, LIONESS, LION stalking, LION standing, TIGER, TIGER reclining, ZEBRA Foal, WARTHOG, male MACAQUE MONKEY, GIANT ANTEATER, KANGAROO w/joey, DROMEDARY CAMEL, CROCODILE, and LLAMA with calf. All are in very good condition with minor wear and no notable damage.
