The iconic blouson sleeves on this authentic antique bodice truly signifies the age of this piece. With the hight of the dramatic sleeve occurring in the 1890s, this victorian bodice shows the influence that decade had on the early 1900s. This bodice is made of a  black cotton muslin and features black and cream silk trim. The cream silk is adorned with a black crochet lace done in a floral pattern. The black silk details are adorned with small sets of buttons that are connected with strands of knotted chord. The closure down the front is a series of hooks and eyes, all of which are still intact.

The condition of this piece is good for its age. There is one small hole (a half inch big) on the shoulder of the right sleeve and minor residue stains around the arm pits, we have not attempted to wash this piece. Also, the silk around the collar and waist is shredding. Please view all photos prior to purchasing and feel free to reach out with any questions you may have. This piece is sold as is.
