U.S. Border Patrol Chief's Commendation Medal, set. The set consists of ONE full size medal and a service ribbon. The photo shows the front and reverse of the medal, you will receive ONE full size medal and a service ribbon.

A series of medals were designed for the Border Patrol in the late 90's, but before most were manufactured, or issued, the agency was transferred to the Department of Homeland Security and renamed. This medal was manufactured, and an unknown number (probably very few) were issued. In 2019 this medal was redesignated as the Border Patrol Achievement Medal with the same obverse, the same ribbon, but a redesigned reverse. HARD TO FIND!
