This is an antique porcelain biscuit barrel in the shape of a chest of drawers from Royal Doulton.
This piece was made for Huntley & Palmer's Nursery Rhymes series and has a nice depiction of Old Mother Goose on the lid.
It has Rd No. 459880 on the base which corresponds to a 1905 manufacturing date.

Please see photographs provided for more details and visual confirmation of condition for yourself.
There are some signs of age and use wear. There are some areas where the paintwork is worn and flaked off.
There is a small chip on one of the corners of the lid.
It is a little wobbly on its feet.
The glazing is crazed in places.

It measures approx. 6 inches tall x 7 and 1/4 inches x 4 and 1/2 inches.

My stock ref : ESK - in loft.

Most of my items are sent using the Global Shipping Program due to Royal Mail being really quite useless at actually delivering parcels worldwide for the last 8 months, which gave me and my customers a truly diabolical service of which I am still chasing up delayed post.

Global Shipping Program does not allow coins to be sent which is a little bizarre, is that because they do NOT trust their own delivery people to keep charge of the packages whilst on route ? So coins will be sent using Royal Mail.

Scale is usually an English 1 penny coin which is 20mm in diameter which is just short of 7/8ths of an inch in diameter, or a universal Coke can, and we all know how big those are.

If you see A/F = a/f in the title or description it means "as found" condition which may have scuffs, scratches and damage. In relation to all my listings it does not mean " about fine ". I have used A/F  for " as found " for 45 years.
