A new figure for all Mulan fans

Designer Steven Thompson therefore imagined Mulan sitting on the statue of the Great Stone Dragon. This folkloric sculpture is located outside the Fa family's house in the film and appears briefly. But it is a magnificent ancestral setting to stage the future fighter of the armies of the Chinese Empire. She is therefore in traditional dress here.

 After Mulan runs away from home to serve in place of her elderly father Fa Zhou in a war against the murderous Hun army, the ancestor spirits choose to send the Great Stone Dragon to simply bring her back to home safely. For the task of waking him up, they send Mushu, who is offended when he is not asked to find her himself (in the past, his actions to protect the Fa Family led to disaster).

After several failed attempts to awaken the dragon, he accidentally destroys the statue after slamming the gong on its right ear until it comes off. Fearing the wrath of the ancestors, Mushu uses the statue's nearly intact head to imitate the being and cover up his mistake. The ruse works, and the Chief Ancestor tells the "dragon" to fetch Mulan.

The Mulan figure with the Great Stone Dragon is beautifully detailed. It has different shades of blue and green to bring more relief. Vegetation is visible everywhere, reinforcing its old side.
