The design of the main unit was refined, and it had the same performance as the SG-1000, except that it came with two joypads.

Software and peripherals from the SC/SG series can be used.

For example, with a keyboard (sold separately) and BASIC (sold separately), it can be used as a PC like the SC-3000.
