Beautiful flowerballn pendant light from Laura Ashley.

Flowerball (not including cord) measures approx. 20cm wide & 20cm tall

Condition: I purchased this many years ago and never got around to installing/ using the light. It has been kept in storage and I have moved it around a several times during house moves. Unfortunately this does not come with the original box/packing. Looking at it closely I have noticed that a small section covering a wire is damaged (see Pics.5-7 which show how it should look on one side compared to the damaged bit of cable). I am not an electrician but I would guess that a little bit of electric tape wrapped around the exposed area would sort this out. The flowerball also seems to be a bit indented in this area (see Pic.4  so perhaps it has been dropped or taken a knock at some point? Or it may just be the way that it is constructed? This is notable defect no doubt though once installed this would look would still look great!
