John Crawford Biography Paperback Book by Bob Thomas from Bantam Book 1979

Few Hollywood careers have been more fabulous, more scandalous, more dizzyingly from rags to riches and from triumph to tragedy, more glaringly limelit than that of Joan Crawford born Lucille Fay LeSueur, in 1906 or (1908 according to her press releases) in Texas. 

Miss Crawford rose from being a telephone operator in Kansas City to glamour, glitter, romance and ultimate stardom.

Book is in acceptable condition. General shelf and corner wear. Some cover fraying along the edges. Some white marks on front and back cover. The spine has some issues (see photo #3). Scrape in the upper right of the front cover. A piece of tape at the bottom of the front cover flap. Tear at the bottom left of the front cover, and top of the flap on the back cover. A solid reading copy. Please see photos for details, and let me know if you have any questions.
