Santa Fe Lines

from 1951 

These advertising pages were by the Santa Fe RR. Full name is the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway, ATSF.  

The ads are blue (turquoise!) with black and white text. One ad has a drawing of a large jewel or dreamcatcher, that also looks like a turtle-shell. The other is a stylized South-West Indian line-drawing. There is also a line-drawing of a SF passenger F-unit diesel set.  

Ad text starts “Turquoise Room” and goes on about the room, which is a private dining room on the new Super Chief train.  

The ads are full page, approx. 7” x 10”, carefully removed from actual 1951 magazines.
