Here is a Bing & Grondahl Blue Traditional (Blamalet) Reticulated / Open-work Fruit Basket / Serving Bowl.
It is an exceptionally rare and wonderful older piece with the famous blue fluted / musselmalet motifs expertly painted with the underglaze technique.
The piece was meticulously hand-made and beautifully painted by painter number 15.
The piece is factory first quality in excellent used condition. The dish was made and hand painted in Denmark in the period 1915-47.
The bowl measures approximately 7 7/8 inches in diameter, and 3 5/8 inches tall.
The bowl is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. There is light wear / scratching on the surface of the piece, and discrete firing marks and minor normal firing marks / glaze irregularities from factory production. Please carefully examine the detailed photos.
It is a lovely piece that deserves its place in any collection!
