This is Ryuichi Sakamoto's first original album in 6 years since "async" released in 2017.
The album is a collection of 12 songs selected from sketches he made as if he were writing a diary during his ongoing battle with the disease.
The title of each song is the date when the song was created.
The jacket is a drawing by Lee Ufan, an international artist representing the "Mono-ha" school, for this album.
It was released on January 17, 2023, Ryuichi Sakamoto's 71st birthday.
