This advertising page was by the Pontiac division of the General Motors Corporation.  

The ad has a painting of a copper-colored 2-door Pontiac Bonneville convertible. It is parked outside a fancy restaurant.  

Pontiac’s were being promoted as ‘Wide-tracked’, wider and lower than most other cars. Advertising used paintings of the cars instead of photos so they could over-emphasis this wide, low look.  

Ad text starts “Pontiac becomes you wherever its Wide-Track takes you” and goes on about the car.  

This ad is full page, approx. 7” x 10”, carefully removed from an actual 1960 magazine.
