MCM MINIMALIST Vintage 1950s CREAM RAW SILK Sleeveless FITTED SHEATH DRESS - M

Beautiful Mid-Century Modern late 1950s / early 60s vintage tailored sheath dress  made of a textured, lightweight fabric (there are no content labels - my best guess is a raw silk or a silk/rayon  blend) in a pretty cream / ecru colour.   The fitted sleeveless dress features a fitted bodice with a scoop neckline accented with lovely detail, dipped back, darted bust, nipped waist  with small tie bow and a curve clinging pencil cut skirt with a  knee length hem.  The dress is fully lined with a lightweight satiny acetate fabric and closes at the back with a metal zipper. 

MEASUREMENTS:  No  labels ... the bust measures 36 inches (therefore fits a size 34 bust best), the   waist  measures 30 inches  and the hips are 40 inches. The dress is 41 inches in length.  There is almost no stretch to the fabric.  As always, remember to leave room for you when using these measurements to determine fit.

CONDITION:     Very slight wear  ... overall, excellent condition.
