Selling is an advertisement page for:

Canadian Pacific

from 1938

This advertisement page is by Canadian Pacific, for its cross-Atlantic cruise ships.

The ad has a photo of people in a fancy on-board dining room. I’m assuming it is on the RMS Empress of Britain, showing part of Frank Brangwyn’s mural. There is a smaller photo showing the tennis court.

Ad text starts “Give me the route with 39% less ocean” and goes on about the St. Lawrence Seaway route.

The RMS Empress of Britain was sunk by a German submarine in 1940.

This ad is full page, approx. 7” x 10”, carefully removed from an actual 1938 magazine.

Good condition, light yellowing around the edges, light wear on corners and along right (stapled) edge.
