1 of a number of coal mining related tokens and checks I have recently purchased from an old collection. They are made of plastic, brass, copper, zinc and aluminium type metals. Some are odd shaped and most have holes in them to hang them on a keyring or similar. Some as you will see have been re-numbered over the years, some are very well-worn, and some have what looks like lead solder obliterating the original wording. There could well be some rare seldom seen examples as these type of tokens are not really my field. Some have the wording on the token and others have been punched on. All are a/f - as found.

This is a plastic token that reads:
School Milk Token
Only to be exchanged for milk.

I am not a coin grader so please see pictures provided for more details and visual confirmation of condition for yourself.

It measures approx. 38mm in diameter.

I combine postage - shipping but you MUST wait for my combined invoice BEFORE you pay me, otherwise it's a real pain in the neck these days as ebay take % off me as well on the postage charge and if you have paid me for EVERY token individually I cannot refund you it back like I used to be able to do in the good old days.
Please DO NOT PAY ME IF YOU ARE BIDDING ON OTHER ITEMS on the same day.

My stock ref : T441/26523 in coal mining pit, lamp, check, tokens box #CM.

Most of my items are sent using the Global Shipping Program due to Royal Mail being really quite useless at actually delivering parcels worldwide for the last 9 months, which gave me and my customers a truly diabolical service of which I am still chasing up delayed post.

Global Shipping Program does not allow coins to be sent which is a little bizarre, is that because they do NOT trust their own delivery people to keep charge of the packages whilst on route ? So coins will be sent using Royal Mail.

To see ALL my other 6000+ items for sale: please click on the VISIT SHOP or click "see other items", strangely both only have a limited view of what I have to offer on each platform so to see everything click on Shop by Category which will give you a much better view.

Scale is usually an English 1 penny coin which is 20mm in diameter which is just short of 7/8ths of an inch in diameter, or a universal Coke can, and we all know how big those are.

If you see A/F = a/f in the title or description it means "as found" condition which may have scuffs, scratches and damage. In relation to all my listings it does not mean " about fine ". I have used A/F  for " as found " for 45 years.
