This is a new listing as we get asked so many times how to ship the deck to us for service or repair.
Now we are including all you need for £195.
You are welcome to arrange your own shipping so please use our other listing.
Once you buy this service we will
1. Ship you a box and packaging, this includes everything you need to safely pack your turntable.
2. When you notify us that it is all packed we will send a courier to collect.
3. We will service your deck as below
4. On completion we will notify you that it is ready to return.
5. We agree a return date and ship your deck back.
Shipping, collection and delivery is only available Monday to Friday.
You must notify us before noon for next day collection or dispatch.
There are circumstances when servicing can take longer i.e. we do on many occasions find the arm height adjustment can be seized up and this can take some time to free off.
For this we will include :
Replacing the Pitch Control slider.
Replacing the phono lead.
Replacing the earth lead.
Other parts can be replaced at the same time

Pre check and report any other faults.
Strip and lubricate the spindle.
Check over the pcb's for dry joints and resolder any.
Lubricate the arm height adjusting ring. Sometimes these can be seized so may take longer.
Calibrate Pitch Zero Point and +6
Calibrate the Brake
Check the anti skate.
Clean the exterior.
We replace the pitch control complete.
We replace the earth lead with our upgraded thicker cable at same length as phono cable or you can have genuine Technics 1.2m only and very thin at same price.
We replace the phono lead with either of our own brands, options 1 or 2 below
1. Gold ofc cable any length up to 5m
2. Gold cable 1.2m, fitted as standard unless you request otherwise.
3. Genuine Technics Gold up to 1.5m add £20, still supplied by Technics
4. Genuine Original Technics 1.2m (non gold) no longer available from Technics add £35
Allow for 100mm of cable under and inside unit. Original length was 1.2m
Cable capacitance
1. 240pF/metre
2. 90pF/metre
3. 47pF/metre
4. 260pF/metre
For the past 10 years at least the cable supplied by Technics has been 260pF per metre, our cheapest option 1 is similar to these figures. However, many customers are now requesting lower capacitance cable to meet their requirements therefore options 2 or 3 are more suited.
Original Technics parts are either no longer available or commanding ridiculously high prices so we give you some options.

Do not send the platter, arm weight or lid. Do not send anything until you hear back from us.
Courier should send you an email early a.m. to confirm an eta for delivery of box and delivery of unit. Unfortunately they will not give an eta for collection.
Important: Whilst we are happy to collect and return by courier No responsibility can be
accepted for any damaged items.
The box we send is probably the best you will find. It allows for 2 inches of solid polystyrene all round.
You can use our box and arrange your own courier if you wish.
One box, one turntable.
Sorry about this but for the thickos out there. YOU ARE NOT BUYING A TURNTABLE
As stated above this is a repair only service. If you buy this thinking you are buying a turntable then any refund will be subject to a 20% admin fee plus any cost incurred i.e. shipping when you find the empty box doesn't have a brand new shiny turntable in it.
Your item will show as dispatched on E-Bay when we send the empty box usually next working day if purchased before noon unless you request otherwise.
You are welcome to deliver and collect to us and for that we have a separate listing.
Courier cut off time for this product is noon regardless of times shown elsewhere. This is because of the notification time we have to give the courier
