This is a 1990s small wooden trinket box made of marquetry strips of very thin wood. It is very precisely done and is very light weight. The prior owner purchased it on a trip to the Middle East and displayed it but did not use it. It is lined with red felt-like fabric and closes with a brass clasp.

CONDITION: This item is used but is in very good condition with no damage I can find.
SIZE: This piece is about 3 1/4" wide and 1 7/8" tall.
BACKGROUND: This is one of a number of things I recently purchased from a retired teacher neighbor before she moved away from our 55 and over community to live with her son. I'll be listing more of her things over the next several weeks.
