The cross is in excellent condition, with rustic, antiqued detail. It looks so much better in person, as the pictures have magnified detail that is not really visible in person, and it was hard to capture the flash of the red gems. The metal looks like brass, but it is uncleaned so I'm not 100% sure. 

Excluding the bail, it measures 1 and 1/2 inches / 38 mm, by 1 inches / 25 mm across.
