~*~ Hello and Welcome to the Textile Trunk ~*~

What will you make with this?! There are so many creative possibilities for this fabric deal!
This is a bundle of 6 cuttings of heavy linen grain sack fabric that includes 5 unique red toned stripe patterns! One pattern is a faint beige or brown-red. These pieces of fabric are fragments from long bolts that were hand woven for the making of grain storage bags. Each of these pieces date from the late 1800's to early 1900's. They use herringbone and twill weaves. There are so many uses for these pieces, but they are in unwashed condition with marks. These can be carefully hand washed in cold water, just in case the dye bleeds you may want to wash a small sample before risking the lot. Each piece may have stains, tears, holes, uneven edges, etc. Any damage on these pieces can be cut around or cut out for use in projects. Each piece ranges in size, condition, color, age, material, weave, etc. This fabric could be useful for art installations, theater, many sewing projects etc. I recommend using this material for the exterior of bags, wallets or purses. Get out the iron, the sewing machine, the glue, the scissors, ETC and get creative! ~*~ ( ETM72 )

These pieces add up to about 148 inches (4.11 yards) of fabric total and are each about 18.5 to 21 inches wide.
