1. Read the fault code If the fault indicator light of the engine is on, we need to read the fault code first. Common fault codes caused by damage to the vvt valve include: vvt regulating solenoid valve fault, vvt regulating solenoid valve short circuit to ground, vvt regulating solenoid valve For positive short circuit, etc., we need to repair and repair related faults according to the circuit diagram;

2. Measure the resistance of the VVT solenoid valve First unplug the harness connector of the vvt solenoid valve and measure the resistance between the two ends of the vvt solenoid valve. At normal temperature (air temperature 20 degrees), the resistance of the solenoid valve is 6-7 ohms. If the measured resistance is too large, it means that the internal electromagnetic coil is damaged and needs to be replaced;

3. Remove the WVT valve from the engine, and connect the positive pole and negative pole of the battery to the 1st and 2nd ends of the vvt valve with bow | wires. The vvt solenoid valve is an electrical component with two pins, and the 1st end is vvt The positive pole of the valve, the 2nd terminal is the negative pole of the vvt valve, keep the 2nd terminal grounded still, energize the vvt valve by constantly touching the 1st terminal, and then observe whether the movement of the vvt control valve is stuck, whether the action is fast, etc., if any of the above In this case, the vvt valve needs to be replaced.
