Sourced from an Estate Sale containing tons of sewing & crafting material, sewing machines and sewing projects, along with hundreds of items from around the world. This item has a tag written in Japanese (see pics). Not sure if this was a novelty, tourist-type item, or was a sewing project. The outer pink material has the feel of polyester, but cannot say what it actually is.

There is some evidence of hemming/sewing alterations.
