Vintage Burgundy Decor Insulated 2 Bottle Wine Cooler Modern Art New York
These vintage plastic wine coolers were designed in 1980 by Australian designer Richard Carlson. They are part of the permanent collection of MoMA (Museum of Modern Art New York). It has a sleeve insert that is filled with water and then frozen to keep the two bottles chilled. The cooler was awarded an Australian Design Award in 1979 and the Prince Philip Prize in 1980.
This wine cooler shows varying amounts of normal wear such as slight discoloration, scratches and scuffs. There are no cracks and the unit is fully functional.
