This is a beautiful racing brochure, as Mercedes was once very famous for its racing cars.  It covers virtually all of its racing era until 1955 which is when the company decided to withdraw from racing plus the ‘Touring Racing’ from 1955 to 1963.  It also shows pictures of many famous racing drivers, including J.M. Fangio, Stirling Moss, and Karl Kling. 

 

 

The last few pages show drawing of most of the racing cars during that era and some of their specs.  Some of these cars include:

• SS
• SSK
• SSKL
• 300SL
• 300SLR
• Different formula racing cars & record cars
• Sports & Touring Sports cars

 

 

Also included is a bonus Museum brochure.  This one covers many historic cars made by Mercedes-Benz, including some of the race cars.

Condition:                            There are creases and scratches on the covers, inside pages have light wear from reading through.
