Über mich:

Über die Jahrekonnte ich mir ein großes Sortiment seltener Steppenpflanzen/Mittelmeerpflanzenaufbauen. Diese sind klimawandeltaugliche, insektenfreundliche Wildpflanzen mithohem Zierwert. Ich ernte das Saatgut aus meinen aufgebauten Vermehrungsbeständenselber und kaufe Nichts aus dem Großhandel. 

BeschreibungGewöhnliche Katzenminze (Nepeta cataria):

500 Samen, Sehroft von Hummeln angeflogen. Duftet

Verbreitung: Süd-und Osteuropa, West und Zentralasien

Aussaat:Normalkeimer, Aussaat drinnen bei 20°C ganzjährig möglich, 0,5 cm tief säen, ambesten draußen von März-Oktober

Keimzeit: 1-4Wochen

Standort:Ausgewachsene Pflanzen am besten an vollsonnigen und trockenen Standort, nachAuspflanzung kein Gießen mehr benötigt, wächst bis zu 90 cm hoch

Blütezeit: Julibis August, gut von Hummeln besucht, 1 Wildbienenart nutzt ihren Pollen

Besonderheiten:ich habe bisher noch keine Katze daran gesehen, aber nachts bestäuben vieleOhrenkneifer (Fressfeinde der Blattlaus) die Blüten

Generell gilt:

Lagern SieSaatgut, wenn Sie es nicht direkt aussäen wollen am besten im Kühlschrank(Nicht im Gefrierschrank!). Das macht die Samen für Jahre lagerfähig.Professionelle lagern die Saat zusätzlich in abgeschlossenen Behältnissenzusammen mit Silikagel (die Kügelchen halten die Luftfeuchte gering undverlängern so zusätzlich die Lagerfähigkeit). Geringe Luftfeuchte,Sauerstoffarmut, Dunkelheit und Kälte verlangsamen den Stoffwechsel undEnergieverbrauch des Embryos im Samen und verlängern so dessen Lebensdauer.Samen bis zur Keimung an schattigem Ort aufstellen, damit die Erde nicht zuschnell austrocknet. 
Wenn die Samen nicht keimen sollten (was unwahrscheinlich ist), so schreibenSie mir und ich kann Ihnen dann Ersatz schicken. Wenn eine Pflanzenartausverkauft ist, die Sie aber gerne bestellen würden, schicken sie mir eineNachricht per eBay. Ich teile ihnen dann mit sobald der Artikel wiederverfügbar ist. Es keimen nicht alle Samen, da es sich um ein Naturprodukthandelt. Ich ernte jedes Jahr neues frisches Saatgut.

About me:

Over the years I have been able to build up alarge assortment of rare steppe plants/Mediterranean plants. These are climatechange-compatible, insect-friendly wild plants with high ornamental value. Iharvest the seeds from the propagation stock I have built up myself and do notbuy anything from wholesalers.

Description of Common catnip (Nepeta cataria):

500 seeds, very often approached by bumblebees.smells

Distribution: Southern and Eastern Europe,Western and Central Asia

Sowing: Normal germs, sowing indoors at 20°Cpossible all year round, sow 0.5 cm deep, best outdoors from März-Oktober

Germination time: 1-4 weeks

Location: Adult plants best in full sun and drylocation, no watering required after planting out, grows up to 90 cm high

Flowering period: July to August, frequented bybumblebees, 1 species of wild bee uses its pollen

Peculiarities: I have not yet seen a cat on it,but many earwigs (predators of aphids) pollinate the flowers at night

The general rule:

It is best to store seeds in the refrigerator(not in the freezer!) if you do not intend to sow them immediately. This makesthe seeds storable for years. Professionals also store the seeds in closedcontainers together with silica gel (the beads keep the humidity low and thusalso extend the storage life). Low humidity, lack of oxygen, darkness and coldslow down the metabolism and energy consumption of the embryo in the seed andthus extend its lifespan. Place the seeds in a shady spot until they germinateso the soil doesn't dry out too quickly.

If the seeds don't germinate (which isunlikely), write to me and I can send you a replacement. If a type of plant issold out but you would like to order, send me a message via eBay. I will thenlet you know as soon as the item is available again. Not all seeds germinate asit is a natural product. I harvest new fresh seeds every year.
