Vintage Printer's Block Letter Press - Turner's Tic Douloureux Neuralgia Cure

This nice, old, advertising printer's block is one of several found in a barn in New England.

The plate itself is still clear and clean. The second picture shows how it would read once printed.

The block measures 2 1/4" wide by 1 1/2" high. The block itself is 3/4" thick.

The Turner Company was located at 120 Tremont St., Boston Massachusetts. Mention of this medication is mentioned in advertising as early as 1866. This block may have been used to print Victorian Trade cards.
