A gorgeous and unique piece, I did a lot of research and couldn't find this exact piece on-line! It was made it Italy and features a large, lidded dish with a shell handle at the top. It is mostly blue and green with accent colors of gold and brown.
The inside of the lid has a faint yellow manufacturer's mark and an "x" placed on the inside of the lid. The lower portion of the dish has an "x" placed inside the bowl- both x's are small and cannot be viewed when the piece is covered.
There are a few small sections of the back of the lid that appear to be manufacturer's errors in glazing; there are no other imperfections in the piece (no chips, cracks or crazing).
A stunning display piece for a bathroom, china cabinet, dining table or sideboard. It's really beautiful!
