Hupno Cast Jig from Fiiish
Fiiish Hypno Cast is the first project of a metal jig developed by Fiiish, the French company famous for having revolutionized the world of spinning with the invention of the Black Minnow. This metal jig with its attention to detail and sinuous swimming is preparing to be talked about both in salt water and fresh water.
Large casting distances
The objective of the transalpine design was to create a jig that could reach long casting distances with total precision. Objective achieved thanks to the weight distribution, more unbalanced towards the tail to facilitate the loading and launching phase. Thanks to the low center of gravity, the jig is stabilized during the flight phase to reach large distances with greater precision.
Focus Hook System
The central assist of the Hypno Cast is positioned strategically to optimize the via ferrata and avoid snags on the bottom. The exclusive VMC hook is forged and reinforced. The "Locking Shape" design totally eliminates the risk of unhooking the fish. The dressing facilitates the suction of the hook. The assist has been specially made of metal to ensure maximum resistance even in the event of an attack by large or particularly vigorous prey.
Anti-snag system
The design of the new Hypno Cast (with ballast on the belly) and the composition of the central assist ensure that the hook is always presented with the tip facing upwards, eliminating any risk of entanglement and allowing you to probe safely even the rockiest and most impervious seabeds. Once placed on the bottom, the assist will slowly settle on the bottom, eliminating any risk of stranding.
Passing armour
The through armor is not made with a simple metal wire but is composed of a stainless steel sheet which makes the Hypno Cast practically indestructible even in the case of particularly vigorous attacks. It is completely through and has a second ring in the terminal part of the bait, thus giving the possibility of arming it with a more robust hook in case it is necessary to attempt to hook large predators that feed on small forage, as often happens at sea on tunas that feed on small fish. All the rings are larger in size to guarantee maximum resistance both at the head (for the use of large leaders) and at the tail (for a second hook).
Movement and fishing action
Designed to come into action immediately as soon as it touches the water, it owes this result to the decentralized weight placed on the side opposite the hook attachment. It produces an incredibly pronounced falling wobbling, with pronounced light reflections. The central attachment of the hook combined with a feather dressing emphasize the naturalness of the movement in the water. Launched and retrieved linearly at reduced speed, Hypno Cast reproduces the tired movement of a small fish in pain, thus attracting the predator's attack. The inclination of the line with respect to the surface of the water is fundamental and allows you to keep the jig in a diagonal position, giving it the ideal set-up to develop the best gliding swimming. No animation with the rod is necessary, no vigorous jerking. The Hypno Cast moves without any effort on the part of the angler, reproducing extremely natural swimming.
A particularly effective trick to increase the attractive power of the new Hypno Cast is to add a second assist to the queue. The combination of the two dressed assists will allow the jig to develop an even more baiting and natural movement. With the double assist, the Hypno Cast also proved to be extremely effective for trolling, being able to create greater friction with the water and therefore resisting speeds of up to 4 knots while maintaining regular and effective swimming.
