A pair of beautiful antique (late 1800's/early 1900s) white cotton pillowcases, approximately 10" x 21" case (plus lace trim). For small decorative bed pillows.

Trimmed with 1-1/8" handmade bobbin lace in excellent condition with one minor area of distress.  Two 1" strips of bobbin lace are inset from the edge forming two rectangles on the pillowcase face. Note that the lace trim on these two cases is slightly different from each other (see photos). This was an interesting discovery and another example of their homemade origin.

Each back closes with two original buttons. Sturdy usable condition.

These are tagged with the name of my great great step-grandfather. I believe these were made by and for his household in Germany.

Hand-washed and line-dried. Shipped folded.

Thanks for stopping by to take a look.
