A traditional embroidery style from Lucknow. The word chikankari when translated into English means embroidery. It is one of the best textile decorations in the city. This technique of embroidery is delicately done with hands-on textile fabrics like muslin, silk, chiffon, organza, net, etc. The stitches are of various types and the thread comes in various colours too.
