Portrait of: WILLIAM HENRY DUDLEY, M.D. of Brooklyn, was born in Ireland in October of 1811. His education was obtained in Ireland. Selecting the medical profession in 1831, he matriculated and studied at the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin. In 1833 he left Ireland and went to Jamaica, West Indies, where he married Emily M. Fitzgibbon. He was elected a Fellow of the King's College of Physicians and Surgeons, Jamaica, and held the position of Health Officer and Surgeon to the Marine Hospital, at Porte Maria, in that island, and so continued until 1841, when he came to the United States. In 1843 Dr. Dudley received a diploma from the College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York. In 1843 he located in Brooklyn, where he has since resided, and been actively and successfully engaged in his professional duties. Print Specifics:
