I can't find much information about this set of bookends but they appear to be African or Egyptian style. The material looks to be plaster given the small sections of wear (see photos).
They are quite striking and very detailed. Please see photos are description. Sold as is.
Each weigh a little over 3 lbs. before packaging and solid. I will continue to research and update the listing accordingly.
