Imperial Porcelain Rose Net Pink Tea Cup & Saucer Set of 2 Lomonosov Pink Luska

Description

New Pinklushka Cup and Saucer Set of 2, Rose Net, Lomonosov, Russia

NEW, No Box.

Capacity 250 ml.

Cobalt Net was inspired by the lavish lattice pattern tea set that Empress Elizaveta originally had made decades ago when she founded her kiln, but the Empress' tea set was originally exactly this austere rose pink.

The classic shape of the tea set looks like something out of an old Russian painting, with a crest of lilies and hard, fine, crisp lines, and the pink is a mauve pink with some tinge of purple.

Lomonosov (Imperial) Porcelain Imperial Porcelain (formerly known as Lomonosov) is a long-established top-quality Russian brand, established by order of the Russian dynasty in the former imperial capital of St. Petersburg since 1744 and started as a Russian royal warrant. Official Russian dinner brand.

Due to the fact that Lomonosov has many hand-painted processes, minor scratches, slips and unevenness in the gilding, and paint errors are present on all pieces. Like Royal Copenhagen's high-end line, the texture around the edge of the cup is unique and smooth due to the fuseyaki process. The bottom of the Lomonosov cup is always stained with glaze or gilding, even on new, first-class pieces, and this is a result of the firing process.
