Preface

This book was written as sort of a family history, but
then I found that I just couldn't afford to have it printed
unless some were sold to try to offset the cost. If enough
are sold so that I break even, I will be well pleased; if
there is ever a profit made on this book I want it to be
added to the principle fund of the Anderson Memorial
Educational Trust.
Some people ask where the name of the book came
from, Memoirs of a Free Spirit. I think if you read the
book, you will have the answer. Even as a youngster, I
was quick to doubt some of the things that were being fed
to me. I developed a sort of hydrolic ram system of tearing
things apart, and looking at them from all angles, thus I
formed my own philosophy, which is based on the one
word, 'INTEGRITY'; absolute truth in all things is the only
religion anybody needs, it will not polarize people, cause
wars, or swelled head public servants; it's the one thing
this or any other country needs above any other one thing.
Lots of people think and plan to go to heaven when they
die; not me; I decided when quite young that there was no
better place than right here on planet Earth; not a thing
missing, except absolute HONESTY, so let us work
together, best we can; it has more value than all the
GOLD.
