This is a beautiful two volume Victorian fine binding set, in fine condition. Elegantly bound in teal cloth with lavish gilt lettering, gilt top edges and a lovely floral motif. Each has a sewn in bookmark. Housed in the original dust jackets which are in amazing condition for age. 
The bindings are tight and square, with clean interior pages, save for spotting on back of frontispiece engravings and small gift inscriptions. Each book is illustrated with numerous photogravures throughout, all protected by original tissue guards. 

These wonderful classic books would make a great addition to any library!
