Antique Art Deco 1909 Patented Erie Art Metal Co Industrial Waste Basket or Garbage Can.  Cool design, painted gray.  I am not sure if the paint is original or not.  Given it's use as a waste basket, it does show wear, minor dents, rust on the bottom and paint chipping away.  Still!  It's over 100 years old!!  The bottom is stamped Erie Art Metal Erie PA. '09 Patented Jany 5th 09".  The basket is 14" tall and 12 1/2" to 13 1/2" wide at the top (not a perfect circle).  Can ship or local pick up in or near Coralville, IA.
