Description
In the 1980s, northeastern Italy was home to some of the best frame builders, not just the big names like Pinarello and Villier Triestina, but quite a few small makers who worked out of the limelight and were known among enthusiasts for their handcrafted works.

Luigi Montagner is just one of these talented frame builders. His workshop in Pasarella (VE) was a hotbed of fine handmade frames, some of which were even made for Francesca Moser and the Czech and Polish national teams.
