This is an antique casket style lidded box made from lead crystal. Cut glass and it is really beautiful.
It has a really nice deep hand cut pattern on the lid which looks like a cornucopia with some fruits etc.
The cut glass top is all frosted behind unlike the cuts everywhere else on the box.

Condition Report: Normal signs of age and use wear including some surface scuffs etc.
There are some chips and nibbles on the edges which I have tried to photo as best I can.
It measures approx. 3 and 1/2 inches x 4 inches x 3 and 1/2 inches.
This lidded box is heavy being approx. 1.65 kilos.

Scale is usually an English 1 penny coin which is 20mm in diameter which is just short of 7/8ths of an inch in diameter, or a universal Coke can, and we all know how big those are.
If you see A/F = a/f in the title or description it means "as found" condition which may have scuffs, scratches and damage. In relation to all my listings it does not mean " about fine ". I have used A/F for " as found " for 45 years.
