Darlene Shortridge is the author of twelve books and counting. You're a Boy, Not a Bull is her first children's book. She lives in Oklahoma City with her husband Dan, and her two children, Jonna and Jeremiah. When she isn't writing, she loves being with her family, especially her first grandbaby.
