A Fabulous Welsh, oil on board painting landscape of Llyn Cwellyn by Philippa Jacobs.

A wonderful original framed oil on board of Llyn Cwellyn Snowdonia, North Wales, painted by the Welsh artist Philippa Jacobs. Philippa Jacobs studied at Epson and Kingston Art schools, and also at the Royal College of Art London. Jacobs is an elected current member of the Royal Cambrian Academy Conwy and now based in Bala North Wales. She acknowledges a strong influence of her teacher the Polish painter Marian Kratochwil on her work. Signed en verso "Philippa Jacobs" there is also the following text " Walking/Painting in Snowdonia 'By Llyn Cwellyn' Snowdonia 2009" on the back too.

This is a gently painted piece which totally captures an atmospheric sunny Llyn Cwellyn/ Snowdonia mountainscape. Llyn Cwellyn is a reservoir in North Wales which lies on the Afon Gwyrfai in Nant y Betws between Moel Eilio and Mynydd Mawr in the northern part of Snowdonia National Park. 

The painting is in very good condition- no flaking or holes , painted wooden frame in good condition too.  Please see all pics. A beautiful framed oil painting ready to hang.
