Mint Schrade USA 2002 NRA LIMITED EDITION Gold Color Filled Stag Bowie Knife. This is a stunning Stag handle bowie knife from Schrade when they hand made knives in USA. The handle is genuine sambar stag with lots of character. The knife is 10 3/4" long with a 6 3/4" long blade. The blade is coated shiny black and has a gorgeous color filled etch by Baron Technologies. The finger guard and pommel are polished brass with black and gold spacers on both ends of the stag handel. Schrade hand made these in 2002 in the USA. The NRA bowie knife comes in a nice black velvet lined red wood display case. Schrade LTD USA National Rifle Association Bowie with a beautiful tri-color American Glory etching on the blade; hand-made circa 2002 in the US by Schrade Cutlery; only 950 were issued.
These Bowies were individually numbered 001 through 950 on the blade, the gold-n-silver etching was wonderfully done by Baron Technologies. The knife comes with its original redwood case, laser-engraved with a large NRA logo on the top lid.
Huge Bowie of excellent quality and superb attention to details. Gun-blued blade is etched on one side with a screaming bold eagle and an American flag in gold and silver.
This Bowie is still in the factory display case. These original “NRA” redwood cases are rare as most of these Bowies were refitted with glass-top display cases by a third-party re-seller. These limited edition sets are scarce in “as issued” mint condition. The NRA Schrade USA Bowie will make an excellent addition to your collection or a great gift.
