This is an antique pot lid with original base for Woods Areca Nut Tooth Paste from W. Woods, Chemist Plymouth. 6d pot size.

Please see close-up photographs provided for more details and visual confirmation of condition for yourself.
There are normal signs of age and use wear including surface scuffs, impact marks, glazing cracks, or dirt etc.
There is a fairly large chip on the bottom edge of the lid along with some other smaller chips.
There is also quite a bit of chipping on the base.

Not sure if this is the " right " base for the lid as its slightly smaller is the base but it fits OK for display purposes.

The lid measures approx. 2 and 5/8 inches in diameter.

My stock ref : #T368/19823 in pot lid cabinet.

Most of my items are sent using the Global Shipping Program due to Royal Mail being really quite useless at actually delivering parcels worldwide which gave me and my customers a truly diabolical service in the last year. However if you are bidding on a number of items and you want to COMBINE shipping then please eBay message me and I may be able to change the shipping option for you.

To see ALL my other 6000+ items for sale: please click on the VISIT SHOP or click "see other items", strangely both only have a limited view of what I have to offer on each platform so to see everything click on Shop by Category which will give you a much better view.

Scale is usually an English 1 penny coin which is 20mm in diameter which is just short of 7/8ths of an inch in diameter, or a universal Coke can, and we all know how big those are.

If you see A/F = a/f in the title or description it means "as found" condition which may have scuffs, scratches and damage. In relation to all my listings it does not mean " about fine ". I have used A/F  for " as found " for 45 years.
