IN CRISP UNCIRCULATED CONDITION - Goodwin Signature. Last date of issue for a Scottish One Pound note – Very Late PREFIX C/92.ISSUE DATED 1st OCTOBER 2001 NOTE IS SIGNED FRED GOODWIN.
Pick#351e. One Pound Banknote, Green on Multicoloured, note is signed by the notorious Fred Goodwin as Group Chief Executive.
Serial Number C/92 244116. One of the last £1 Banknotes issued for circulation.
This banknote has, at the far right on the face, a rather majestic portrait of Lord Ilay - the first Governor of the Royal Bank. The reverse has an illustration of Edinburgh castle.
The banknote is in crisp, clean and bright condition, as issued with light bank handling only. The note has seen no circulation - therefore grades UNCIRCULATED.
The Royal Bank of Scotland was the last mainland Bank to issue One Pound notes.

Therefore those buyers from RUSSIA, CHINA, INDIA, BANGLADESH, PAKISTAN, INDONESIA, MALAYSIA, VIETNAM, SAUDI ARABIA, MEXICO & CHILE who wish to bid on my notes will have to contact me first and be aware that any items won will be sent by chargeable INSURED TRACKABLE postage. This is because at least 30% of items sent to buyers in these locations in the last few years for some reason do not arrive. The cost of insurance will add about £10 to the cost of the item.
I always combine postage and shipping on more than one item won. If you think my postage and shipping charges are unreasonable then please contact me before you make a bid. PAYMENT - Pay through the eBay system using your preferred payment method. In exceptional circumstances I may accept £, US$, € at current rates or a personal cheques drawn in £ on a UK registered Bank, please contact me first if you wish to pay this way.
Shipping/handling: UK and Europe: £2.49 for regular mail of up to 20 grams weight - normally about 10 banknotes in total, (buyer’s risk, not recommended!) or £6.30 for registered/insured (Necessary for all items or groups of items with a value exceeding £30). Rest of World: £3.49 for regular mail of up to 20 grams weight - normally about 10 banknotes in total (buyer’s risk, not recommended) or £10.90 for registered mail (seller’s risk, necessary for all items or groups of items with a value exceeding £30). Multiple wins/items are batched and sent at no extra cost, unless weight is significantly higher, above 20 grams.
NB. Please do not pay until you receive my invoice, especially if you have won more than one item, as I always combine the postage packing and shipping costs, so that you save on postage. I do of course appreciate it if you pay quickly but I am sure you wouldn't want to be paying too much for postage. If you do overpay I will usually refund you through Pay Pal, before I send your item or items.

I strive to earn 100% perfect 'five-star' scores from you, my customer. The star scores are very important because eBay uses them to determine the visibility of my items in search results. So before you leave your Feedback for me, if anything about the transaction did not meet your expectations, please let me know and at least give me the chance to put things right, before leaving negative Feedback or contacting eBay.

PLEASE NOTE ALL ITEMS ARE NOW MAILED FROM MY CURRENT LOCATION IN ITALY, posted the same day that payment is received or the next working day after payment, if made at the weekend. When I am in the UK, I may post from there. Some deliveries may take longer than normal to arrive, this is not my fault, merely the result of the RECENT problems since March 2020, experienced within the International Postal System!
Although now, despite the International being almost back to normal again, there still can be the odd delay to some destinations.
